Add Some Style Your BBQ Area With These Tips
Has your BBQ area been neglected? Or do you take pride in your fabulous BBQ area? Either way, we are here to give you some super tricks and tips to spruce up your outdoor area and make it more attractive – and in-turn you will enjoy spending time outside cooking up delicious BBQ treats.
Plants and More Plants
Nature is nurture and will provide a beautiful tranquil setting to any area and that includes in the BBQ area. Of course, not to close to the BBQ, for obvious reasons.
A Prep Bench
A stainless steel prep bench will be practical and give off the appearance that you mean business behind the BBQ. They are great to prep on and serve from.
A Wood Heater
A wood heater will obviously bring warmth to your BBQ area, in more ways the one. The atmosphere a wood heater creates when it’s blazing will provide the perfect distraction as your guests are mesmerised by the dance of the flames. Some wood heaters do have practical applications such as hot plates and baking ovens. You get the best of both worlds. They come in all shapes and sizes from retro to modern. You’re basically spoilt for choice.
Shine a Light
Let the midnight special shine a light on your BBQ area. Well, they are song lyrics from Credence Clearwater Revival… well, almost. Anyway, lighting can enhance the atmosphere of your BBQ area tremendously and allow you to see while you cook up a delicious feast on the barbie. It’s a good idea to have a spotlight mounted above your prep and cooking area, not only to illuminate your amazing skills but so you can see what you’re doing.
You can also use solar-powered LED’s in various locations around your outdoor area. If you have ever been to a music festival, you will notice that they use a lot of lighting amongst trees. This creates an amazing effect that will wow your guests.
A Pizza Oven
A wood-fired pizza oven is a great addition to your outdoor area for two reasons. It makes delicious wood-fired pizzas and gives you more treats to add to your dinner party menu. They also come in an array of colours and styles that will definitely enhance the appearance of your outdoor area.
Furniture
Your outdoor furniture should reflect your style. If you’re going for a tropical Balinese style backyard area, perhaps cane furniture and maybe some low tables with cushions around. Your choice of furniture should represent your personal style and it does have the ability to make the area look fabulous or make the area look average. When choosing your furniture take in the surroundings and take a holistic approach. With a little creativity, you will have an outdoor area to be proud of.
